鉴于新冠病毒COVID-19在全球范围内的影响，OBU官方发布了关于论文提交的新消息：

1、本期提交时间为2020年5月1日开始，一直到5月27日结束，提交日期延期2周。

2、本期论文选题为(Topic 8和15)的同学，行业要求会一直沿用到下一期 Period 41(2020年11月)提交期。

3、2020年5月为10年内后一次提交机会的同学，将申请论文的资格延长到下一期，即 Period 41(2020年11月)提交期。

In light of the global COVID-19 pandemic and the disruption this has caused students, Oxford Brookes University has identified the following ways to support BSc Applied Accounting students.

P40 (May 2020) submission window has been extended by 2 weeks

The submission period will be extended by a period of 14 days beyond the normal submission period, to provide you with extra time to prepare your RAP submission in these exceptional circumstances. The submission window opens on 1 May 2020 and will now close on Wednesday 27 May 2020.

P40 Industry sectors continue for P41

As you know, each academic year we change the industry sectors for topic 8 and15. We will issue new industry sectors for 2020/21 but the P40 industry sectors will remain valid for P41.

This means that if you are in the unfortunate position of not being able to complete your work for the extended P40 submission window, you will be able to submit in P41.

10 year rule

If P40 was your last opportunity to submit, under the 10 year rule, and you are unable to do so, then you will have an automatic extension to P41.

Mitigating circumstances

If there are circumstances that have affected you as an individual, it is possible to apply for mitigating circumstances by contacting acca@brookes.ac.uk

You must apply for mitigating circumstances prior to the submission window closing, and you will need to provide supporting evidence.
